| We are an active retired couple (Tom and Beryl) who spent their working lives (a)Tom in corporate banking and (b) Beryl in university administration. We are both tertiary qualified, and Tom has been a life-long golfer who now plays off a 5-handicap, and is also an accomplished watercolourist. Beryl plays competitive contract bridge and creates ear-rings from semi-precious stones and crystals. She is also a committed dressmaker, who makes her own patterns. We would like to exchange near golf courses (naturally!) and the sea - but this latter is not a prerequisite. Our garden is easy-care, low maintenance, with no grass, but is planted with a number of prize-winning roses. |
