I share an apartment in this amazing neighborhood in beautiful Barcelona with two guys, a Spaniard and an American who recently moved in. The apartment is small, but cozy and has all you really need to enjoy life and the wonders around you.
Barcelona is a wonderful city, that will demand longer than a month to partially discover. Especially if you end up living in a neighborhood like mine: gracia is the jewel of the city with its interesting squares all around, people coming and going, trendy and traditional world colliding and bringing out the best of barcelona, which is happy people all around. It's hard to describe the freedom and pleasure you experience while living here and getting to know people from all around the world: amazing and significantly interesting if you are a traveller.
Like me, many others who have arrived to this city and this neighborhood, have been impressed by the energy and feeling you get by being here. It makes it hard to leave Barcelona. Gracia is full with little shops, convenient stores, mini-markets, bars, night life, galleries, bohemian life and artistic activities, traditional festivities, newcomers and our ever existing 'graciences' combining tradition, family life and good vibes.
Barcelona has it all. the Mediterranean sea, great food and wine, art and culture anywhere you look, fancy stuff like any other major European city and it's unique way of enchanting people.
My place is ideal for a traveling experience. Nothing fancy, but great people to share it with: my great friend, Mauri (Spaniard) is a graphic designer who works endlessly and who probably you won't be seeing much (too bad because he rocks!), and my other roommie, Jason (the American), is the quiet and respectful type of guy, in his mid twenties, who plans to stay for another five months in town while he gets to know it thoroughly. That's what people do.
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested. Can´t wait to exchange homes!

I am a Peruvian, living in Barcelona and Europe since 2004, finishing my master's in cultural management and working as an intern for the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) . I love art and culture, traveling, live music, dancing and enjoying life as it is. Very much a progressive character, open-minded and laid back at home. Our place is quiet, since life is right out the door, and the building is family-oriented, though some of us are single and coming from abroad.
I am very clean and organized, respectful, social but I also enjoy a lot my solitary time. I love reading, creating, watching films, writing, good food (I'm the healthy kind of person)and wine & beer. I love walking and jogging to bring a good sweat out, dancing at home, and meeting new people around for a good chat.
Home is home. Simple but nice, good people, great living. Barcelona can bring a lot into your life, it's an adventure, even still for me. I am looking for a place or room to stay in beautiful Vancouver while i do an internship at the Fringe Festival 2007. This will be my first time ever in Canada, so I'm very excited. Besides, I love the pacific ocean and no matter how beautiful the Mediterranean sea is, I always miss the Pacific ocean.
Anyway, if interested let me know ASAP.
